FunkyMunky Music is all about enjoyment for little ones and you as their parent, grandparent or carer.
Children can join in with our dance moves, sit back and watch, or wander, explore and do their own thing — whatever feels right for them. No pressure, no expectations, just a warm, friendly space to enjoy music and play at their own pace.
Grown‑ups are welcome to jump into the dancing if you fancy it, or simply enjoy a well‑deserved breather while your little one is entertained.
Our lively dance group is specially designed for 1-5 year olds (younger siblings welcome, and are free of charge until they're 1yo). We embrace creativity, movement, and magical musical moments that bring smiles to little faces.
We're a drop-in group, no booking needed, so pop along to explore the world through music and dance!
TED's gran says... "The sessions are a warm and friendly way to enjoy singing and dancing. The children love the props and get very excited about what will be next to come out of the bag. The familiarity of the format is reassuring and shy babies soon develop into confident participators. Learning: Socialisation skills, timelines and routines, behaviour boundary expectations, learning to manage feelings, counting, colours, sharing, rhythm and rhyme, physical skills, kindness and helping….having lots of fun.
This activity covers so much within the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum)."
