Welcome to FunkyMunky Music!
We’re a lively lots-of-fun kind of music group for 1 - 5 year olds… we wriggle, jiggle, jump, tap, twirl and wobble to all sorts of songs, new and old, with lots of different toys and puppets that add to the fun and encourage participation.
Incorporating rhythm, movement and the use of props, your little monkeys are encouraged in their personal, social and emotional development.
What we do at FunkyMunky Music
We're a drop-in group so no booking needed, and provide a lively atmosphere for little dancers! Our sessions are packed with joyful tunes, colourful props, and enough movement to shake the sillies out. Whether you’re a toe-tapper or a full-on floor spinner, there’s something for everyone. For every song, we have a differnt prop and a different set of dance moves. Plus there's always coffee and cake!

Explore lively dance routines that get little ones (and us bigs ones too if you wish!) moving and grooving!
Different kinds of dance moves serve to develop both fine and gross motor skills and encourage children to link movement with sound and words, all of which underpin literacy.
Children learn simple co-ordination of their bodies, speak and memorise rhyme and keep in rhythm to a steady beat while having lots of fun!
Puppets & props
Our colorful puppets, props and instruments bring magic to our sessions, keeping little ones engaged and entertained throughout!
A huge range of finger puppets, musical instruments, rhythm sticks, bunny ears, ribbons, hats, parachute and bubbles increases the fun and encourages participation.
Variety of Songs
From classic nursery rhymes to modern favourites, our song selection is diverse and captivates little audiences. Even grown-ups enjoy a singsong and dance along!
